About Bulleid Engineering
Established in 2002 by Chris Bulleid, Bulleid Engineering is a family business now owned and operated by Marque Hindle, Chris' brother in law. Marque took over the business in 2006 which now employs 8 staff including qualified tradesmen and an apprentice.Marque also spends a lot of time working with the local primary school and is on the PTA. During the recent school holidays, Marque rewelded and fixed many of the classroom chairs.
Marque Hindle
Born and raised in Southland, Marque has had an interest in engineering since an early age. With an interest in crafting projects and problem solving, Marque started engineering after high school in Invercargill.When Marque went in to work with his brother in law Chris, he moved to Winton to work in the workshop before taking over the business in 2006.
Marque has 2 children and has a love for muscle cars. Marque and the kids love going on car runs and spending lots of time in Central Otago at the lakes.
Troy
As a qualified Fitter Turner, Troy has worked at Bulleid Engineering for the past 5 years. Troy previously worked as an engineer in Christchurch before relocating to Winton with family. Troy has a passion for building and fixing things and says that engineering gives you the opportunity to make something out of nothing, which he loves.Troy has a varied role at Bulleid Engineering. He looks after the shop including processing orders, looking after stock, pricing jobs, completing paper work and answering the phones.
In his spare time, Troy has an interest in motor sport and motor cycles of which he worked for numerous franchises before becoming an engineer. Troy also enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, snowboarding, playing tennis and tramping - but not rugby!
